<p>Deputy Chairman of the Sovereign Council Receives Minister of Youth and Sports and Eng. Salah Omar, Affirms Support for &#8220;Africa Together for Sudan&#8221; Forum</p>
<p>Khartoum –<br />
Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Commander Malik Agar Air, received in his office the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ms. Hazar Abdelrasoul Al-Ajab, accompanied by Eng. Salah Omar Mohamed, the Ministry’s envoy to the African summits.</p>
<p>The meeting addressed Eng. Salah Omar’s participation in the African Youth Leadership Summit in Addis Ababa and the Sustainable Development Summit in Kampala, during which he briefed the Deputy Chairman on the outcomes of both summits and his efforts to advocate for lifting the suspension of Sudan’s membership in the African Union, reaffirming Sudan’s active role on the continent.</p>
<p>Minister Hazar Abdelrasoul also presented the Ministry’s initiative to host the &#8220;Africa Together for Sudan&#8221; Forum in the city of Port Sudan, as a platform for dialogue and African solidarity with Sudan during this critical period.</p>
<p>The Deputy Chairman expressed his deep appreciation for Eng. Salah Omar’s participation as a representative of Sudanese youth in regional forums, praising his contributions and honorable stance. He also announced the Sovereign Council’s full support and sponsorship of the upcoming forum in Port Sudan, recognizing its importance in strengthening continental ties and enhancing Sudan’s presence in Africa.</p>
